Saturday Evening/Sunday Morning

Ascension believes that gathering for worship and study is vital to the life of the believer. Here is a brief list of Saturday/Sunday activities:

Saturday Evening at 4:00 p.m. – Traditional Worship

Traditional worship is a classically Lutheran, Christ-centered worship that proclaims God’s truth through the rich heritage of Lutheran liturgy and hymns.

Sunday Morning:

9:00 a.m. – Traditional & Contemporary Worship

Traditional worship is a classically Lutheran, Christ-centered worship that proclaims God’s truth through the rich heritage of Lutheran liturgy and hymns.  Contemporary Worship is Christ-centered worship that proclaims God’s truth through an enhanced blend of adult contemporary Christian music, familiar hymns, and a variety of liturgical elements.  During the summer we incorporate both styles of worship.

10:00 a.m. – “Coffee Under the Trees” Fellowship Time

10:30 a.m. – Adult Bible Study

A staffed nursery is available from 8:45 am – 11:30 am each Sunday. (Currently, we do not offer a staffed nursery on Saturday evening.)
