Saturday Evening/Sunday Morning

We are continuing corporate worship at Ascension. Services will be on Saturday evenings at 5 p.m. and on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., & 11 a.m. We are limited to 50 people at each service. You will need to wear a mask for worship and keep your social distancing. Online worship will also continue. I want to thank you for your patience during these last number of months-we’re learning more about being God’s people every day. CURRENTLY, THERE IS NO SUNDAY SCHOOL, SUNDAY ADULT BIBLE STUDY, OR NURSERY!

We hope to soon get back to regular hours…but we are so glad to see everyone that has been able to join us during our current schedule listed above!

Ascension believes that gathering for worship and study is vital to the life of the believer. Although we offer numerous opportunities to study throughout the week, Sunday morning activities are primary.  Here is a brief list of Sunday morning activities:

8:00 a.m. – Traditional Worship

Traditional worship is a classically Lutheran, Christ-centered worship that proclaims God’s truth through the rich heritage of Lutheran liturgy and hymns.

 9:15 a.m. – Adult Bible Study

Adult Bible class (led by Pastor Larson) includes studies of specific books of the Bible and topical studies to enhance our knowledge of God’s goodness and grace. Adult Bible class meets in the fellowship hall on the lower level.

9:15 a.m. – Sunday School

10:30 a.m. – Contemporary Worship

Contemporary Worship is a Christ-centered worship that proclaims God’s truth through an enhanced blend of adult contemporary Christian music, familiar hymns and a variety of liturgical elements.

A staffed nursery is available from 7:45 am – 12:00 pm each Sunday.

Please join us for worship!
