Ascension Lutheran Church works with several partner and affiliated groups to support and maximize our mission efforts.  We strive to fulfill our Lord’s Great Commission and to help others.

The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod — Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) has more than 2.3 million baptized members in some 6,200 congregations and more than 9,000 pastors.  Two seminaries and 10 colleges and universities operate under the auspices of the LCMS, and its congregations operate the largest Protestant parochial school system in America. The church broadcasts the saving message of Jesus Christ over KFUO Radio, and produces “the Lutheran Hour” in association with Lutheran Hour Ministries.  LCMS has numerous relationships and active missions working in nearly 90 countries around the world.  In the last five years, the LCMS has awarded more than $35 million through more than 900 domestic and international grants for emergency response and disaster response. Today, the LCMS is in full doctrinal fellowship with 33 other confessional Lutheran church bodies worldwide.


The Rocky Mountain District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod – The Rocky Mountain District (RMD) is a regional division of the LCMS and serves Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.  RMD has more than 53,000 baptized members in some 183 congregations. 35 preschools, 31 elementary schools and 4 high schools are in the RMD region.

Lutheran High School Association — Lutheran High School of the Rockies is a parochial high school located in Parker, Colorado which provides quality academic programs in a Christian environment.


Lutheran Family Services-Rocky Mountains — Lutheran Family Services (LFS) is a faith based, non-profit human service agency helping children and families during their most challenging times. LFS is a social services agency providing adoption, unplanned pregnancy, refugee, and other social services for all persons of the community. LFS has been committed to serving all people, regardless of race, religion, gender or age since 1948.

Bethesda Lutheran Communities – Sharing the love of Christ with children and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities is the main focus of Bethesda’s ministry.  Bethesda provides a variety of support services and resources to educate friends, families, congregations and other service providers about developmental disabilities.

Our Mission:  To enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through services that share the good news of Jesus Christ.
