Our Speaker for Thursday, November 1 will be Mrs. Judy Finnessy, President of the Denver Society of Creation. Judy’s topic will be, “The Cost of Denying Creation: In the Year 2525, Will Our Children be Christian?” Every day our young people are bombarded by the teaching of evolution. Surveys show what a detrimental effect this has on their faith! When the clear meaning of the creation and the fall in Genesis is undermined either by teaching evolution as fact, or by failing to teach Biblical creation, the effect is clear. As we lose the God of the Bible as our Creator, we also lose Him as our absolute moral authority. The result is the deterioration of our culture, morals and faith! Join the battle to save the faith of our children! In addition to the importance of teaching creation, Judy will give you an update on the recent activities of the Denver Society of Creation and a vision of our future activities and events. You’ll also get an update on the status of numerous resolutions passed by LCMS districts on the creation topic, and how you can support activities for the synodical convention next July.

We also have two exciting conferences we’d like you to “save the date” for! On May 3-4, 2019, Dr. Jason Lisle will present a conference on pre-suppositional apologetics. We’ll follow that with a conference on creation and education in the LC-MS. Then, on June 2, 2019, we’ll have four nationally known Ph. D scientists from four different fields talking about the evidence that our earth is young at our “Age of the Earth” Conference. Mark your calendars for these events! More info to come!
