Pasta with a Purpose: Fundraising Dinner for the Aguilar Family
Reserve the Date! Please reserve Saturday, November 3 at 5 p.m. for a fundraising dinner for the Aguilar family. Frank Aguilar is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for pancreatic cancer that has metastasized. The chemotherapy is to shrink the tumor around the artery so he can undergo surgery. Karlene and Frank have 2 children, both age 2 and under. Karlene is a lifelong member of Ascension and is the daughter of Lori and John Rolling. Karlene taught middle school and high school youth for several years, and Stella attends Sunday school.
On November 3, we’ll have an Italian Dinner and a silent auction including beautiful hand-made quilts and other items as a fundraiser for this family. Some food will be donated by Romano’s, and it promises to be a fun evening. Plan to join us! We’ll soon have a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board on the landing so we can better plan for the food.
