Resurrection Workshop
You are invited to a “Resurrection Workshop” on Sunday, October 20 from noon until 3:30. The workshop is free, lunch will be provided and if needed, childcare will be at no cost. The Workshop is co-sponsored by the Ascension Lutheran Church Foundation and Jason Jones, the Planned Giving Counselor from the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Foundation. During the three hour gathering Pastor John will speak about how to plan your funeral service; we’ll have a funeral director speaking about things to consider about a funeral service, cremation and things like that; David Kirch, an attorney will be speaking about legal matters that you should be considering; Jason Jones will give a presentation on Advanced Health Care Directives (The Five Wishes) as well as speaking about a lifetime plan for giving. Questions and answers will be part of each of the segments.
